Pick the set that fits you
The difference touches your rights, so it pays to establish this up front. A consumer has fourteen days to change their mind, a business customer does not. That is why the two are not in the same text. If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, those fourteen days are also your statutory right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 30, counted from the day the contract is made. If we ever fail to tell you about that right, regulation 31 extends the period. Dutch law governs the agreement, and a consumer keeps the mandatory protection of the country they live in on top of it.
- Jarvis for consumers: price including tax, payment and direct debit, giving notice, liability, complaints and the right to cancel with a model form. Note the status: that text is version 1.0, adopted on 25 August 2026, so it applies in its own right and no longer leans on the general terms. It also settles the tax question that used to sit open here. If you live in the Netherlands, Dutch VAT is inside the amounts shown. If you live elsewhere, the order screen shows the amount you pay including the tax that applies to you, and the order screen governs over any table. That document sets out per country which rule that is, with the Belastingdienst and HMRC as the sources, each read on 25 August 2026.
- Jarvis for business customers: what is in your plan, how you deploy agents responsibly, whose data it stays, which model suppliers we may bring in and what happens when a model or a connection changes.

Which text wins
The order of precedence is set out in the terms of TheSEO. It runs from mandatory law to a signed order confirmation, the data processing agreement, the terms for your product and then the general terms. Public explanations such as this page come last. If you read a wider commitment here or anywhere else on the site than your contract holds, that text is wrong and the document is not.
What does stay here
The trust centre is where you find the status and evidence behind Jarvis. It explains what gets logged, how incidents run, what has to be green at go-live and what happens to your data when you leave. That supplements the terms; it does not replace them.
